Rehearsals will typically be in the evenings Sunday through Thursday, with a few possible Saturday afternoon rehearsals as the opening date approaches.

The Bodyguard Meroney Theater
Rehearsals will take place the month of June in the evenings Monday-Thursday and during the day on Saturdays.
Performance Dates: July 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, 25th, 26th at 7:30pm and July 13th, 20th and 27th at 2:30pm.
This production is committed to selecting a cast that reflects a variety of racial, ethnic, gender, ability, and other identities, without limitations or stereotypes; everyone is encouraged to audition.
Performers auditioning for principal roles should be comfortable with elements of intimacy and physical contact as noted in the character descriptions. Performers who are not comfortable are encouraged to audition for any of the other roles. Any discomfort with intimacy has no effect on future casting decisions at PPT.
In Person Auditions
All should arrive for in person auditions no later than 10 minutes prior to their scheduled audition block to ensure a smooth schedule. All auditioning must be available for all production dates. All are strongly encouraged to bring a headshot photo and resume. Pre-registration is required for in-person.
Audition Prep
Please prepare 16–32 bars of a pop/rock vocal selection in the style of the show that shows off your range, and a 30 second monologue of your choosing. You may be asked to stay and dance.

Video Submission
Video submissions can be sent using private Youtube links or Google Drive to bodyguardmusical@piedmontplayers.com by the March 10th at 12pm deadline.
Please prepare 16–32 bars of a pop/rock vocal selection in the style of the show that shows off your range, a video that demonstrates your dance ability, and a 30 second monologue of your choosing. Your email should include Subject Line – The Bodyguard, (Full Name). In Video – Please state your name and title of your audition package. Please email your submission to bodyguardmusical@piedmontplayers.com.
After all video submissions are reviewed, you may be contacted by the production team and requested to attend an in-person audition or to record a specific side or song.
