The Norvell Theater is proud to celebrate 10 years of all-youth productions where students are involved in every aspect of production—from ushering and concessions to sound, lighting, and backstage crew.
In addition to the 5 mainstage shows at the Meroney each season, PPT also produces 5 youth shows each year at the Norvell. As with every Norvell season, the first 3 productions will be performed for the public as well as the students of the Rowan Salisbury School System. Area students will get to see the shows as a “field trip” with their school, write reviews, and have the chance to be published in the Salisbury Post.

There are many reasons to bring your children to the Norvell for our education programs: our audition workshops enable students to refine their audition prior to any youth production, summer camps offer weekly experiences in many varieties, and our intensive 6-week youth academy in the fall and spring improves and broadens your student’s skills and techniques.
Students get a chance to workshop their audition before the actual audition! Audition workshops typically take place the Saturday before each audition dates. Call us at the office for more information.
Summer Camps at PPT are more than just any ordinary summer camp. Your children will be able to explore and experience the theatre while learning valuable skills as an artist and actor.
Youth Academy is our 6-week intensive designed to improve and broaden your student’s skills and techniques. Acaedmy occurs in the fall & spring. More information will be available this August.
