Kaitlyn Bego Dance Ensemble/Aerial Performer

Kaitlyn Bego is a senior dance major at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC). A Dean’s List scholar, she was chosen to perform featured roles in each of the modern, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop productions in the school-sponsored dance concerts in which she appeared. During UNCC’s Fall Dance Concert her sophomore year, Kaitlyn was a featured dancer in a hip-hop production by Robert Green, who performed at the 2025 Grammy Awards and was a backup dancer for pop-icon Taylor Swift and other A-List artists. Kaitlyn was also selected to dance as part of a trio featured at the Mid-Atlantic 2025 American College Dance Association Conference (ACDA) in College Park, Maryland. Kaitlyn has pursued her passion for dance over a 15-year time period. She began her pursuit at the age of six at a Charlotte-based dance studio called Precision Dance, where she received extensive training in jazz, contemporary, lyrical, ballet, tap, heels, and hip-hop, and competed for 10 years. A skilled choreographer, Kaitlyn’s dance compositions are known for their fluid movement and technical soundness and showcase her deep understanding of dance artistry in the creative solos, duets, and group arrangements – particularly in the genres of jazz fusion, jazz funk, hip hop, and even a ballet-hip hop blend. A featured solo piece Kaitlyn choreographed for a former dance competition team member was selected as “Most Creative Jazz Dance Solo.” Kaitlyn is so happy and grateful that she will be able to express her deep passion and love for dance in this theatrical production by Tod A. Kubo.
