Jenny Hubbard

Jenny (Annie) last appeared on this stage twenty years ago in Enchanted April and is delighted to be back telling another story about women’s friendships—especially because she’s telling it with longtime friends Claudia, Winnie, and Mary Ann, whom she met through Piedmont Players.

Jenny, a retired high-school English teacher, now writes novels for teens and volunteers at the public library and adult-literacy council. She thanks her mother, Jayne, for teaching her how to read and taking her to see plays. Where? At Piedmont Players, of course! P.S. Her sweet and talented husband built this set.

Winnie Mikkelson

Winnie is excited about the bold new opportunity to play the role of Chris in Calendar Girls.
You may recognize Winnie from any of nearly 30 performances over the past 30 years, where
she frequently ran around on stage in just underwear, lingerie, or a skimpy chorus girl outfit.
Calendar Girls provides a whole new peek at the “corporeal beauty” of her mature human form
and acting talents. Winnie would like to thank her wonderful cast, crew, and Director for
making this play a highlight. And special thanks to her real-life husband, Dan, for supporting
her in her all together, and she stands proud that her children (including her wonderful son-in-
law) get to see what mom does as an empty nester.
